The Ask

Sundowns Stories was an overall collaboration between Mamelodi Sundowns FC and ur agency to explore the premium storytelling space on YouTube for the incoming Chariman of South Africa's most succesful football club. We produced 4 unique docuemntary short films, released for free on YouTube and accompanied by a wider social media marketing and communications plan. Teko "Dona" Modise is one of the greatest players in South Africa's history and one of the true superstars of the sport and wider african culture. His story though is one of major dichotomy having once carried the nickname "The Curse" because of his inablity to win a trophy. This is the raw and honest story of one of the most misunderstood South African players.
