The Ask
Get Copper, the American based teen banking app, approached us to conceptualise, develop and produce their first brand manifesto video. The aim was to engage the modern day teen through a short hero piece that showcased the easy integration of the app into their busy lives, improving their financial knowledge and empowering them to be financially independent.
The EXECUTION
The Get Copper execution was not a “traditional” one. With the target market being American teenagers the junior members of the team were handed the reigns on conceptualising the piece. Working with a limited budget and travel constraints due to COVID-19 we needed to think outside the box to recreate teen-centric American scenes here in South Africa. From pre-production, production and post production, every stage of the process was executed internally. The script, art direction and VFX were crucial elements to the success of this project.
